It was another fun outing. This time my travels took me to the Home Depot in Carson. What a coincidence, Carson in Carson. It couldn’t have turned out better if we stayed up all night planning it that way, some things just fall into place.
It was an overcast day that actually got us wet. We need it. Can we say the drought is over yet?
A guy actually came by our booth and asked: “If this is where Sarah Palin speaking today?” I had to inform him that Sarah would be speaking at the Home Depot Center where they play soccer, not the real man’s hardware/toy store Home Depot.
Pictured is yours truly and “Homey” -- I mean “Homer” the store mascot, and a happy winner of a $25 Dollar Home Depot gift card, one of four that we gave away. Actually I made them work them by naming the four Beatles, a popular group who had a few hits!
