It’s been awhile since I reported in; I’ve been busy with our special appearances like the Ralph’s re-grand opening in Seal Beach a few weeks ago, and the Meow Mix Cat/Owner auditions at the historic Henry Fonda Theatre in Hollywood. The Auditions were for a cable game show featuring cats and their owners, which come to think of it raises the question, do we really own our cats or are we here for their convenience, when they feel like it?
I’m back into knocking the little white ball around. This past weekend playing in the member/guest tournament at Simi Hills, a fun tournament and a fun format taking the lowest score from the two of us on each hole. When I left the course yesterday, my partner Billy Long and I were in second place money in the “B” flight. However, not all the groups had posted their scores so I won’t know until later this week if it’ll hold up.
Saturday, I rode 25 miles on my road bike, not all flat terrain, and thought I was doing great until I met up with two riders who were taking a break. Inquiring as to where they were headed and from which direction they came, their answer, they were in the middle of a 65 mile ride. So there you go, one man’s ceiling is another man’s floor.
The moral of the story is: I got on the bike and rode, thanks...
