Charlie Tuna Station Tour
A few lucky All Access Members were selected for a tour of our radio station. They joined Charlie Tuna in the studio. The tour concluded with a breakfast from our friends at Cafe N Stuff Catering, cafenstuff.com.
Hey Charlie, It was a dream come true to finally meet you today. I was in awe with you from the time I entered the studio and watched, listened and engaged with the whole group touring the studio. I heard your story of your life passion to be in radio over and over when you were at the other station but to hear you share it in person is totally a different feeling. Your tone, your expressions, it clearly says you love what you do and I wanted to tell you inspire me to love what I do. Thank you so much for getting the pictures to me Krystal. My son and I had such a blast coming into the studio for the Charlie Tuna tour on Friday. Everyone at the station was so friendly and really made us feel welcome. This took being an all access member to a whole new level. On Friday we were treated like VIPs, everyone we meet showed and expressed their appreciation to us, the listeners. I realized I wasn't just one insignificant person amongst the millions of listeners. It felt like being an all access member made us part of the K-earth family.
I had tuned into K-earth Sunday morning to listen to Charlie's show. Throughout the program he played clips of the all access members that were there on Friday.
Towards the end of the program he played what he had recorded from my son & I. I called the station and couldn't believe that Charlie answered the phone himself. He seemed delighted when I told him that I didn't just so happen to be listening and heard my voice, I had been tuned in all day. I was surprised that he personally answered the call. Again I felt special.
Music has always been my favorite form of entertainment. In all my years I have been to many concerts, meet several celebrity/musicians etc. The Charlie Tuna Tour was a brand new rock and roll experience and definitely tops my list of favorites.
