K-EARTH 101 wins the 2007 Radio and Records Industry Achievement Awards Classic Hits Station of the Year; it was announced today by the highly-respected trade journal.
CBS Radio Los Angeles station K-EARTH 101 has been playing the Greatest Hits on Earth for 35 years. The actual day K-EARTH 101 turns 35 is October 16th. K-EARTH 101 has a legendary history as a radio station. Over the years, K-EARTH 101 has been the home of some of the top personalities in radio, including Robert W. Morgan, the Real Don Steele, Brian Beirne, Charlie Van Dyke, Humble Harve, Dave Hull, Johnny Hayes, Bob Shannon, and Wolfman Jack.
Today K-EARTH 101 continues its rich tradition and legacy of incredible on-air talent with Gary Bryan, Lisa Stanley, Samantha Stander and Bob Malik in mornings, Jim Carson in mid days, Joshua Escandon and “Shotgun Tom” Kelly in afternoons, Christina Kelley at night, and Dave Randall heard overnight.
