I was born and raised right here in Beautiful Southern California. My father used to tell all about growing up listening to such legendary radio stations as Color Radio 98 KFWB, 1110 KRLA, and Boss Radio 93 KHJ. He also told me about dj’s Robert W. Morgan and The Real Don Steele. Needless to say, I fell in love with radio! While attending Buena High School in Ventura, I was the kid always looking to make the others laugh. I soon discovered drama class where I learned about sound mixing. While attending college at San Francisco State University I had the opportunity get an internship at KYLD Wild 107 working in the production department. That is where my decision to make my career in radio was solidified. Since then I have had the privilege working for not only K-Earth 101, but also KYLD and K-Earth’s sister station, KNX 1070.
When I am not keeping the gang refreshed with towels and drinks, I enjoy spending time listening to lots of different music, but The Beach Boys, Elvis, and Motown top my list. I also spend a lot of time with 3 best girls, My wife and 2 daughters. We enjoy the beach, the lake, the park, really anything outdoors. I love to work on my cars, although my toy, a blue 1988 Mustang GT, doesn’t get the attention I’d like. My girls and I look forward to the day we can all get in that Pony and head out on the open roads of Southern California, find some hole in the wall B-B-Q shack, and enjoy Listening to K-EARTH 101 with the windows down and the sun shining.
