I've been here at K-EARTH 101 for thirteen and a half years, and in the radio business in general since 1980.
The first concert I ever went to was at the Forum, in the late summer of 1977, featuring the Isley Brothers. It was the 70's, so the stage was filled with a lot of fog, and a lot of Isleys, in capes, scepters and jewels - -so much bling, in fact, I wondered if they slept with their suits in a safe!
The coincidence?
My brothers had seen the Isleys in concert 12 years before, in 1965. They're truly a band for the ages.
