1. HOW TO ENTER CONTEST:
The K-EARTH 101 All Access Member exclusive NCL Mexican Riviera “Register to Win” contest will begin at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on Monday, May 5th, 2008 and will end at 11 p.m. PT, on Sunday, May 11th, 2008 PT. Contestants must be 21 years of age or older.
To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s):
Enter by Registering:
All contestants must be a K-EARTH 101 “All Access Club” member in order to participate in the contest. To become a member (free of charge), you must complete a registration form by clicking on “Join Today!” located in the right column on the K-EARTH 101 Website (http://www.mykearth101.com/). Enter your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number and a valid email address in the registration form. Only one Internet entry per person and one Internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
Then, once a K-EARTH 101 “All Access Club” Member, submit your entry by “clicking” our NCL contest image located on the All Access Member contest splash page a winner will be chosen randomly from all online entries at the end of the contest period and notified by K-EARTH 101 promotions.
The station is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
a. The contest is open to all K-EARTH 101 “All Access Club” Members who are 21 years of age or older and who reside in one of the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego or Ventura. Employees of K-EARTH 101, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Los Angeles, Orange County, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura metropolitan areas and the members of their immediate families and/or households, same applies to persons of CBS Television Distribution, MerryMedia, or any divisions, affiliates or subsidiaries of the foregoing or their advertising/promotion agencies. are ineligible to participate or win.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.
c. Listeners are eligible to win a K-EARTH 101 contest with a prize value of $599 or less only once every sixty (60) days and a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six (6) months.
d. Winners must submit a completed W-9 form, sign a copy of these Official Contest Rules, sign a participant release form along with a copy of a valid government issued photo ID and Social Security Card to the KRTH-FM staff in order to claim their prize.
Contestants are required to provide truthful information and K-EARTH 101 will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
3. PRIZE:
a. A total of one (1) prize will be awarded at the end of the contest period. The prize consists of (1) minimum category oceanview stateroom, for two people on NCL’s 7-day Mexican Riviera sailing from Los Angeles (Transportation not included). Additional persons traveling in the stateroom will pay applicable 3rd/4th passenger rate. ARV: $3,000
b. Prize fulfillment and Conditions: Bookings must be made within 12 months from the date of the Winner’s Certificate. The cabin space outlined above is on a space available basis, subject to NCL’s discretion and availability at time of booking. Excluded from this offer are sailings impacting major holidays. (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s). NCL must be notified no later than 45-60 days prior to sailing date to ensure cabin space availability. Name and departure date changes are not allowed and will forfeit cabin space.
Not included in the above are Government taxes and fees, transfers, service charges, optional shore excursions and onboard personal purchases. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Add $7.00 fuel supplement per person per cruise day for the first two guests per cabin, and $3.00 fuel supplement for each additional guest.
Once a cabin has been confirmed, changes will not be accepted.
c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that a Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the items listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities, transportation or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS:
a. Decisions of K-EARTH 101 management with respect to the contest are final.
b. Online winner will be selected via a random drawing from all online entries on approximately May 12th.
c. Winner need not be present to win.
d. Odds of winning depend on the number of registered eligible K-EARTH 101 “All Access Club” Members who complete the online entry during the contest period.
5. CONDITIONS:
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, participants and winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, K-EARTH 101 in its sole discretion may require contest winners to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold K-EARTH 101, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. K-EARTH 101 reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed, or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
e. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of K-EARTH 101.
f. K-EARTH 101 is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
g. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of K-EARTH 101, 5670 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA 90036, or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to K-EARTH 101.
h. The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
6. INTERNET SWEEPSTAKES PRIVACY POLICY:
a. By use of this website and by entering the Contest, you agree to K-EARTH 101 Web Site Terms of Use Agreement and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
