Hi, it’s been awhile for the blog… if you’ve been checking in, thanks. We’ve been extremely busy with the American Idol finale and many other little side projects all happening at once. We hear that www.dialidol.com has David Cook winning by a wide margin. As our friend, Vocal Coach to the Stars David Coury, said, David Archuleta was clearly the better singer last night, so what happened? I think people are getting a little weirded out by Archuleta’s “fragile” persona. Honestly, the kid looks like he’s been abused! And that may be the case. Is it maybe too soon for this young guy to hit it big? Will it be worse for him if the Hollywood types get hold of him? In a way, I hope he doesn’t win.

 Gary, I know you support the troops and I've written to you about this before but I'm hoping that this time, you'll mention my request on the air. I belong to Soldiers' Angels, a completely voluntary support group for our deployed military. Right now, there are over 900 heroes waiting for support from home!!! Hi Gary, Would be nice if you could post a picture of Generation Gap winner on the podcast site. Lyla won this morning and we could easily send you a picture of mom and Lyla via internet to upload. Would be fun to see who your listeners are. Those who do not wish to send a picture, you can then use the "stock" picture you already have on the site. I love your show. I listen from 5am your time till 10am your time. That is 8 am to 1pm South Georgia time. I used to live in Southern California yeeeeaaarrrrssss ago. I am now in this little town in Southwest Georgia. I only work part time your show fits my work schedule. I have a wonderful boss who lets us listen to internet radio so of course I chose K-EARTH 101. (is there anyother station in the world).
