Gary, on your way into your shindig at Knott's Berry Farm on Saturday the 26th, stop by our car show in the main Knott's parking lot. The Association of Handcrafted Automobiles will be holding its 29th Annual Fun Under the Sun car show. This are "kit" cars, but many of the modern kits put production cars to shame. Our show opens at 9AM both Saturday and Sunday and closes at 5PM on Saturday at which time we hold a special awards banquet inside Knott's at the Wilderness Hall banquet room. The Sunday show closes at 1PM for the giving out of awards to show entrants. This is the largest handcrafted automobile show on the west coast and the longest running. Part of the proceeds from our event are donated to the Braille Institute. Drop by our large tent in the parking lot and say hello. I'm sure all the attending locals would be thrilled. We get cars entered from as far away as Austrailia and South Africa (in past years). Sincerely, David Hartman Editor, A.H.A. Fuel Line-David in Lake Forest

Hi there Gary...you guys were wondering where Richard Carpenter was living and what he was doing...well, he now lives in Thousand Oaks, CA and is involved with the Civic Arts there. Here's his official website: http://www.richardandkarencarpenter.com/index.html He also does this talent show at the Civics Arts and gives scholarships as prizes. Which reminds me...I need to buy my ticket. So I hope that answers it! Richard Carpenter is alive and well and pretty busy still...oh, if you click on "news" there's a wonderful picture of his family. Love your morning show!! Keep it up!! I switched from Jill FM when they took away all the DJs since I happen to like having a living person talking and playing the music for me. Oh, by the way, can you play more Carpenters please?? Need to play more from them! Sincerely, Jackie in Moorpark

BE HERE FOR HUMP DAY, PUMP DAY… TOMORROW! See ya.
