TODAY WAS “SLY STONE DAY!” What thrill to have this music legend with us for an hour! Believe me, Sly doesn’t do many interviews… and he never sits in one place for an hour. Sly & the Family Stone represent a big slice of music history, so we were thrilled to have him with us. The interview was fun… you can hear it here.

HERE’S SOMETHING YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF!
The Rides for Kids program is doing a special ride for the Pediatric Brian Tumor Foundation. It’s on May 4th in Rancho Palos Verdes. Lunch is included, along with a police escort for the ride and a special event. Get the details at www.rideforkids.org . A big thank you to Wendy Genz and Louise Vanderveen for letting us know.
THE DAY BEFORE, ON MAY 3RD, I’LL BE HOSTING A “NIGHT OF HONOR” AT American Legion Post 291 in Newport Beach. Members should plan to join us.
Tomorrow: CHEECH AND CHONG! Together for the first time in five years! We’ll talk about “Up in Smoke,” which is out on DVD… and it’s being screened this Sunday at 7:30pm at the Arclight in Sherman Oaks, with a Q&A afterwards with Cheech and Chong!
See you tomorrow!
