It’s interesting that so many people have been at their jobs for so many years! This morning we did a phone poll and found that many people in the KEARTH audience have been at the same job for over 20, 30, or even 40 years! Common denominator? They’re all happy with their jobs… and they all listen to KEARTH 101 while they work!
Please keep praying for our friend, Steve Goodlin. He’s Jessica’s dad… the little girl who touched so many hearts when she told us that her dad has cancer. You can still make donation to the family if you’d like, but it’s even more important (in my opinion) to pray for them. Here’s what I think: If God is who we think He is, then He’s in charge… and He can make a miracle if He wants to. As the Bible points out, sometimes if you keep asking, he’ll give you what you want. And wouldn’t it be great if Steve were completely cured of cancer? Let’s give it a try!
HERE’S A COOL EMAIL!
Hi there, Mr. Bryan ~ Your morning show is the only reason I smile before noon during the week, no exaggeration. I know you get a lot of mail, but I am 22 years old and am in love with the music your station plays. How do I even begin to get my foot in the door at KRTH? I want to work at your station, not KLOS, not anywhere... who else plays enough Creedence, Beatles, Stones, and of course, The Supremes, to get me through? No one. I'd love to receive any helpful information you can spare, I know you have to defend your job...:), but I think I'm going to make it my goal to host a segment of KRTH's broadcast one day. I could be very happy getting up and going to work in the morning. I live and breathe music from the 30's to the late 70's (and play it, too.) Thanks for reading, wish I could send something of me playing guitar, I come pretty close on CCR, but no one can touch THAT voice ~ Best regards, Brian Rhatigan Student
We’ll be contacting you, Brian, for an internship! This is why you should always ask for what you want!
See you tomorrow for a tumultuous Tuesday!
